The Swiss expansion set adds Research to the game.
Swiss Things' abilities get more powerful as your Research Level grows.
If you have at least one Thing with Research in your Stockpile at the start of your turn, your Research Level increases by 1. In addition, some Things have abilities that can increase your Research Level when they are Summoned.
If a player's Research Level is greater than zero, you can see it in their Realm. The current player's Research Level is shown in the Research icon on the game screen.
